FAT FACE | DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Creating Outdoor-Inspired, Functional Childrenswear
As a Designer at Fat Face, I was responsible for the research, design, and development of the boys' and girls' collections (6 months – 11 years). Working across jersey, knitwear, denim, wovens, sweats, and outerwear, I ensured that each range captured the brand’s relaxed, adventure-driven aesthetic while maintaining strong commercial appeal.
I collaborated closely with menswear and womenswear teams to maintain consistency across categories, briefing graphic designers and assistant designers to develop seasonal print and branding concepts. Research trips to Hong Kong, Amsterdam, and Tokyo informed trend direction, fabric selection, and colour palettes.
Working alongside buyers and merchandisers, I contributed to range planning, aligning creative design with sales performance and customer demand. The collections were presented to senior leadership and store teams, ensuring brand alignment and commercial viability.
