Driving Trend-Led, Commercially Successful Collections for a Leading Retailer
At Next, I was responsible for the design and development of childrenswear collections (0-14 years), covering multi-product categories across boyswear, girlswear, and babywear. My role involved balancing trend innovation with commercial viability, ensuring collections aligned with Next’s global retail strategy.
I worked closely with buying, merchandising, and international suppliers across Turkey, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, overseeing the design-to-production process to maintain quality, fit, and brand consistency. Additionally, I led graphic direction for print and garment branding, collaborating with designers in both London and Hong Kong.
Through strategic design leadership and global market insights, I contributed to the development of fashion-forward, commercially successful ranges, reinforcing Next’s position as a leader in high-street childrenswear.
