Overseeing Large-Scale Multi-Category Design & Product Development
As Head of Design at Heatons, I led the creative direction and product development across all categories, managing a team responsible for thousands of SKUs per season. My role covered menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, sportswear, footwear, accessories, nightwear, underwear, beachwear, and homeware, ensuring each range aligned with brand strategy, commercial objectives, and market trends.
I worked closely with buying, merchandising, and senior leadership, driving trend forecasting, range planning, and innovation to deliver commercially successful collections. With a focus on design efficiency and product differentiation, I optimised critical path management, ensuring seamless execution from concept to production.
Collaboration with global suppliers and manufacturers was key to maintaining quality, fit, and cost efficiency while upholding brand standards. Additionally, I oversaw the development of licensed product ranges, ensuring alignment with Heatons' evolving business strategy.
Through strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and creative innovation, I played a pivotal role in strengthening Heatons’ market position, delivering a scalable, profitable, and trend-driven product offering.
